Dr. Anthony Altomare
Dr. Anthony Altomare received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his dental degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2013. He spent the next two years at Truman Medical Center in a general practice residency. He then returned to UMKC to complete his specialty training in endodontics. In 2018, Dr. Altomare became a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists–a designation achieved by fewer than one third of practicing endodontists. Completing the three examinations (written, case portfolio, and oral examinations), Dr. Altomare has committed himself to achieving the highest level of knowledge in the specialty of endodontics. In 2023 he became president of the Greater Kansas City Endodontic Study Club. He is also a clinical instructor at the UMKC School of Dentistry, where he helps pre-doctoral students learn to perform root canal therapy. Away from the office, Dr. Altomare enjoys traveling, soccer, hiking, triathlons and spending time with his wife, Kelsey, their daughters, Nora and Margot, and bernedoodle, Norman.
